In the latest (March 2018) edition of Classic Truck magazine my attention was drawn to this article.... "Dangerous liaisons - Stories of truckers having illicit sexual encounters while away from home......" What I'd like to know is who told them.. Anyway, all publicity is good publicity though isn't it??

It was a real pleasure to meet Fred Rust and his family. Had a great evening and thanks for all your hospitality. Hope to see you guys again sometime soon.
Great time had at Newbury Showground last weekend. This is the 2nd year this show has been run and we've been both years. We don't do very many shows at all but this is such a nice pleasant location and the show itself is not too hectic and crowded like a lot of others, just a chilled friendly atmosphere with the feel more of a local show. Nice way to spend a couple of days seeing a good mix of trucks, catching up with friends, taking the kids on a few rides and watching some of the events in the arena.
A little bit of good news out of a hell of a dreadful event. Troy’s family’s family friend Beth Harris got in touch with me last week about using the Big Rig for Troy’s funeral. Unfortunately as the truck is off the road being repaired I couldn’t commit to being available, but after a few days on the phone have managed by the looks of it to have had a hand in getting THE Optimus Prime(!!) of Transformers fame to make the 500 mile round trip to Canterbury on 8th May. Many thanks Hasbro for coming through with this..
After a great day working with Stephen Mulhern and Emma Willis at North Weald Airfield, the parking challenge was completed and is now being aired on Heart FM’s website thanks to confused.com.
Voting is now open for the challenge, featuring Emma and Stephen competing against each other parallel parking the Big Rig (and 4 other pretty original vehicles).. Go to the Heart FM webpage if you want to enter the competition.. http://win.heart.co.uk/confused
A massive thank you to Yvonne and Pete and all the family at Excelsior Wholesale of Buzzard’s Valley who made me feel so welcome on Thursday night. I was made to feel completely at home, treated to a lovely local pub meal and ales, and in the morning sent away with some of their own flowers to give Alena when I got home, as well as a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine from their own winery made with grapes from their own vineyard! Not to forget the blueberry muffin for the road to make the morning peak time journey to Leicester.. Hope to see you all again soon for possibly BuzzStock next year if not a spot of fishing on your lake with the kids before then. xx
